I am a big believer in YOU being a part of your work. At the end of the day people are going to want to work with you for the WORK YOU PRODUCE, yes, but also WHO YOU ARE. they are going to have to communicate with you, pay you (and trust you enough to do so), and entrust you with creating for them. So don’t be scared to put a little you into your content and brand. For me, this has been a game changer. It has brought me the right clients and beyond that, clients that are EXCITED to work with me. Which makes the whole process so much more fun and enjoyable. Which is what it’s all about!
In my option the old “professionalism” is dead. Emojis, friendly email, showing yourself beyond your work – just makes you more relatable, interesting, and sets you apart!
