So I know that many of us in our freelance journey have no idea where to start and how to actually get those BIG PROJECT clients. I always knew branding was something I wanted to get into but had no idea where to start. I also knew I wanted to do logos that matched my aesthetic, but how do I build a portfolio or share the type of work I want to create without having any clients?
Instead of just waiting for clients to come to me, I did this before I had any, and I am so happy I did!
What I did…
I created a logo page filled with a hand full of MOCK logos. These logos aren’t real, they are ones I created just for fun, and I am so happy I did!! I put them on Pinterest and was able to attract clients that wanted logos similar to these fake ones I created. Also, I was able to use them on my logo info page (here) so that clients can reference them, so I get a good idea of what work of mine they are drawn to, making it easier for us to create together!
HERE THEY ARE!

It’s always fun to get creative with logos and layer them on relevant photos to really bring them to life and help people envision them IRL.
Another reason why I love my logo page is because if someone asks for info on my branding packages or process all I have to do is copy and paste the link! I also have a feature on there that if someone wants my logo rates, they can download them right on the spot, all they have to do is enter in their email! It’s a great way to capture emails and provide rates to interested clients!
