I get a lot of questions about how I make my collages, so I thought I would write a little post about my process!
Apps I typically use: photoshop, over, procreate. I don’t always use all three, but for this one I did!
PHOTOSHOP – I made the camera pink in photoshop by creating a layer where I traced the camera with the paint tool. then I brought down the opacity of that layer(down to 85%), then I changed the setting of that layer to “saturation” . Save as JPG
PROCREATE – I drew the flowers. I did this by bringing in a photo of them from pinterest, creating a new layer over that image, tracing the flowers in colors I liked, then hiding the original image and the background and exploring it as a PNG
OVER – Then I went into over (you can do all these steps in photoshop as well) and used the masking tool to erase the sky. then I added an image I found on pinterest (the tie dye one) behind the photo of me. Then I added the PNG of the flowers on top of that!
Here is a peek into over I recommend it to anyone that is looking to get into collaging! It is super easy to use and you can even use it on your phone!!
